Through a 2% opt-out donation at Michael’s Genuine Food & Drink and Amara at Paraiso, diners directly support community meals across Miami-Dade. Led by Chef Michael Schwartz and The Genuine Hospitality Group, this partnership reflects a shared commitment to leveraging restaurants as a force for change.
Funds raised are invested back into small local restaurants and food businesses, empowering them to prepare nutritious meals that are distributed through trusted community-based organizations.
Since 2021, the partnership has raised more than $1.25 million, providing over 250,000 meals for food-insecure families across Miami-Dade County.
